Your appointment typically includes:
• A detailed case history • Physical assessment and movement evaluation • Explanation of clinical findings • Hands-on treatment where appropriate • Individualised management advice and exercises
Appointments usually run for 30–45 minutes.
Just so you know, very little preparation is required. A small, clear space (approximately 2m x 3m) is usually sufficient.
Wearing comfortable clothing that allows movement assessment is recommended. If you have relevant scans or reports, these can also be helpful to bring to the appointment.
Filling out a consent document is a must before examination or treatment.
Consultations are 95 per session.
A receipt is provided following your appointment which may be used for private health insurance or other eligible claims.
If you have extras cover for osteopathy, you may be eligible for a rebate depending on your level of cover. Please check with your health fund regarding eligibility.
Yes. Self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants are welcome.

Osteopathy may be eligible under a GP-managed Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan. Please speak with your GP to determine eligibility and obtain a referral if appropriate.
No referral is required to book an appointment with an osteopath.
However, a referral may be required when claiming under certain schemes such as Medicare CDM plans or other compensation programs.
Osteopaths in Australia are registered with the Osteopathy Board of Australia and regulated by AHPRA. Treatment approaches are adapted to suit individual presentations, clinical indications and patient comfort.
Yes. Mobility Osteopathy supports recreational and community-level athletes with assessment, manual therapy and movement-based rehabilitation.
